A new shopping centre recently opened in Gauteng. The owners wanted to ensure that they create awareness around their new exciting venture. We were able to assist them by creating an attractive and interactive website. These are some of the observations and recommendations we come up with, a month after the site went live.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Recommendation
- The content on the website needs to be regularly updated i.e. Blogging
- More needs to be done to sustain the number of sessions. One possibility is Adwords.
- The brand could possibly invest in keywords buying and display adverts that direct the right audience to the website.
- The brand needs to do more in regards to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
- The brand needs to prioritise which pages need to be promoted and direct traffic towards those pages that are not performing.
- The website needs to be optimised for all platforms and especially mobile.
- The brand needs to create content that engages the right type of content and they could leverage their social interaction to link to the blog section of the website.

After two months of having launched a website, they needed a means of uncovering the impact of the website and what could be done to ensure that they were getting the most value from their online presence. Recommendation
More needs to be done to promote the website and increase the number of sessions. One way to do this would be updating the content on the website regularly to build loyalty and a following.
Page Views
One effective way to increase page views would be link building. By increasing the number of external links to the website’s content, it means that more people will be directed to the content on the site.
Sessions and % New Sessions by Device Category
Mobile users generally demand fresh content that instantly addresses their requirement in the moment. More content needs to be created (and updated regularly) that adds value for users who are using mobile. An example of this would be content that answers questions audiences turn to Google for, such as “where can I get a formal shirt”.
Average Session Duration by Page
One way to make audiences stay on a page longer would be to use interactive content. Instead of using images of map, use applications such as Google maps to make it user-friendlier. Internal links can also be used to guide users on the more popular pages, to the less popular ones.
Bounce Rate
One method of improving (in other words, reducing) the bounce rate of a website would be by creating landing pages that satisfy users queries.
