VACANCY:
Systems Developer Job Type: Full-time & Office Based
The opportunity is based in Black River Park, Observatory, Cape Town.
We’re seeking an experienced, intelligent and enthusiastic System Developer to join our team. This role requires someone that has the smarts to think outside of the box, apply critical thinking and solve complex problems.
You’ll be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, so if you are resilient, a team player and able to work under pressure, then we definitely want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, test and maintain new Zoho CRM components and Zoho Creator applications to assist with our business
- Write functions in Deluge (https://www.zoho.com/deluge/) for automation workflows and to perform system
- Develop integrations between Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator components.
- Develop and test integrations with 3rd party applications (such as Trello, Zoom and Google Calendar) using OAuth 2 authentication protocol.
- Develop cloud functions and endpoints on our Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Maintain our GCP cloud functions and BigQuery databases.
- Create scalable and long-term solutions on our system to satisfy business
- Create financial reports with project data using spreadsheets.
- Create reports and carry out data analysis using Python (or the language that best fits the requirement).
- Working with multiple departments to understand their requirements and implement solutions.
- Debugging processes over multiple applications and platforms.
Experience required:
- Experience working in an agile development.
- Solid understanding of data structures and experience with relational databases.
- Experience working with API’s, webhooks and authentication protocols.
- Ability to work in a small team on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills and Qualifications:
- BSc or similar majoring in computer science or IT would be advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership for your accountabilities.
- Completer-finisher personality
- Great energy levels and proud about presenting output in a professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Someone who goes the extra mile and ensure that stakeholders are kept updated.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills as you will be working with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
- Having a good understanding of your role within a commercial environment.
